Welcome to Black Mountain’s Living Room. We want to celebrate the gentle art of lounging & enjoying the moment — in Italian it’s called ‘Dolce far Niente’ — the sweetness of doing nothing. Inspired by Japan's legendary listening bars and informed by sounds gathered from around the world, SIDE B is a place dedicated to good records, thoughtful drinks, and the pleasure of staying awhile.
We believe music deserves attention.

Tuesdays are vinyl only. A rotating cast of selectors takes over the turntables with crates full of the unexpected, the obscure and the genuinely great—forgotten favorites, unheard gems and the kind of records that make the whole room ask, “What is this?”
MOVIE NIGHT
On Thursday, we’re turning Side B into a cinema—although admittedly one with much better cocktails and a banquette so comfortable you may need assistance leaving it.

Studio BMT is an open forum for experimentation — a rotating laboratory where Dark City DJs, visiting selectors and whoever else we invite into the booth can move freely across genres, eras and moods. One week might lean synthpop and new wave; the next could wander into disco, house, post-punk, global rhythms or somewhere without a proper name yet.
